Family Soundboard ("the app") is made by Joshua Cancellier. This page explains what the app stores and who can see it.
What we store
- Your account. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address and, from Google, your profile picture link. We use them to identify your account and to show your name to people you share boards with.
- Your boards and clips. The boards you make, the clips you record, and each clip's title, emoji, colour and length.
- Sharing. Who is on each board, their role (owner, can edit, or listen only) and any invite codes you create.
The app records sound only when you press Record. It does not collect your location, contacts, advertising identifiers or usage analytics, and it shows no ads.
Who can see it
Your clips are private. Only people you invite to a board can see and play its clips, and only owners and people with edit access can change them. Your name is visible to the people on boards you share or join.
When you send a clip to someone through Messages or another app, a copy of the audio goes to them through that app, under that app's own policy.
Where it's kept
Data is stored with Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage) on servers in the United States. Sign-in is handled by Google or Apple. We don't sell your data or share it with anyone else.
Deleting your data
Deleting a board in the app deletes it and its clips for everyone. To delete your whole account and everything in it, email joshua.cancellier@icloud.com from the address you signed in with, and it will be removed within 30 days.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
